I have been working for 5 years in the area of microbiome research as a Postdoctoral researcher at the Graz University of Technology (Austria), within the Institute of Environmental Biotechnology in Graz, after having completed my PhD with Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand. My main focus for the past 4 years within the BIOCOMES project was the sustainable biological control of plants diseases with the help of beneficial microorganisms. Now I am involved in the MicrobiomeSupport project, which is the key driver to implement FOOD 2030 strategies. I believe that communicating the significance of microbiome and its profound impact on all aspects of life on Earth, and certainly on the future of our planet, is extremely important.
